Good preparation can save a lot of (rain) misery. When shopping for a wedding dress, look for a matching blazer, jacket, or shawl that can keep you dry in a (worst case scenario). Be sure to bring a pair of spare shoes that can take a beating. Shoes in a dark color and with a broad heel (check if the heel is high enough so your dress doesn't drag on the ground) make it possible to walk confidently from point A to B in the rain. Better safe than sorry, right? A slip might sound a bit old-fashioned, but on rainy days, an extra invisible layer is more than welcome.
